Encore Innovators

Introduction to the Design Process
This five-week series of introductory level workshops led by Progressive Arts Alliance will provide you with the opportunity to engage in the design process for new product development. Each week you’ll explore a different aspect of the design process, including: research, concept development, prototyping, iterating, and presenting your product idea to potential investors. See below for participating branches. Registration is required.

Prerequisite
Participants in ENCORE Innovators: Introduction to the Design Process workshops will utilize Adobe Illustrator software.

Please be sure to review this free Adobe Illustrator CC “From Novice to Expert” tutorial before you register for our workshops.

Equipment Rules

There is no charge to use the equipment in the Innovation Centers, however users are responsible for the costs of consumable materials (eg. 3-D printing filament, vinyl material, etc.), a limited supply of which are available for purchase at the Library checkout desk.  We encourage innovators to use their own approved materials for their own projects.
